The Fredericksburg Health Department is hosting a free TDAP shot clinic for rising 6th graders at the Spotsylvania Towne Centre on August 20 (1:00 - 4:00 PM) and August 21 (12:00 - 3:00 PM). For more information and questions, please call the Fredericksburg Health Department, 899-4142.

ORIENTATION AND THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Orientation will be held on Wednesday, September 1, between 4:00 and 7:00 PM. Parents and students may drop in at you convenience to pick up student schedules and locker combinations, meet the teachers, find bus routes, purchase PE uniforms, and prepay lunch accounts. The first day of school is Tuesday, September 7.
FIELD HOCKEY TRYOUTS

Field hockey tryouts will take place in August. Interested athletes are invited to voluntary conditioning sessions August 23 - 27 from 8:00 - 10:00 AM. Tryouts will be held August 30 - September 3, also from 8:00 - 10:00 AM. Team selections will be posted on the first day of school (September 7), with practice beginning that afternoon. Students must have a current sports physical in order to participate.
