Imagine you know all about ducks (or elephants, or anything in fact) and you have discovered a lot of cool information on the web you now want to share with all the other duck-addicts. The thing is that this information is spread out on plenty of different sites. You could of course put up your own site or blog and draw the list of the links to all the interesting pages you found. You’d put a comment for each page and give the URL. Your visitors would then browse your page and follow each link and need to come back each time on your page to find the next URL… So it would be a load of backwards and forwards… but I suppose we are used to that.  Now with a track you can do a lot better.

What is iTALC?

iTALC is a use- and powerful didactical tool for teachers. It lets you view and control other computers in your network in several ways. It supports Linux and Windows 2000/XP (Vista support will come) and it even can be used transparently in mixed environments!

In contrast to widely used commercial equivalent software, iTALC is free! This means you do not have to pay for expensive licenses or things like that. Furthermore the source-code is freely available and you’re free in changing the software to fit your needs as long as you respect the terms of iTALC’s license (GPL). Freedom in two ways!
