Congratulations students, parents and teachers for a successful school year 2009-2010. Have a great summer!
Our Kindergarten Spring Concert is Thursday May 27th. The Assembly is at 9 am and the Concert at 7 pm. Our themes are patriotic and spring and full of zing! We are very excited to have the Monroe Singers come to join us in the first part of our Assembly program.
Please have children arrive by 6:30 pm for the evening performance.
Attire: Students should wear solid white tops and khaki or tan pants or skirts. Cargo pants that go to the knee are okay. White shirts with black pants or skirts are okay. No blue or red please. Students will be making either hats or sashes/necklaces to wear for the concert. If your girl wants to wear a nice flowery spring dress that is fine. If your girl has her own flower headpiece to wear that is also fine.
You can download lyrics for the show on this blog in the Song Lyrics tab. You can listen to or download the songs for practicing in the Music Clips section.
We look forward to seeing you!

Auditions are Wed March 3rd 3:30-4:30 pm in the Gym. Your child’s Home Room Teacher must have a note from you to excuse your child to the Gym or they will not be released. Once auditions have been held and acts have been chosen, you may not change your act. Acts will be selected based on how well you are prepared. The act should be well rehearsed and ready to perform by the time you audition.

Our Second Grade Assembly and Concert are on Wednesday Nov. 11, 2009. The School Assembly is at 9am and the encore performance is at 7:00 pm. Students need to arrive for the evening concert by 6:30 pm. The morning performance will only be four songs. The evening concert will have six songs.
The theme is the harvest. I would like for the boys to wear white or light tops and black or dark pants. Girls can wear the same as the boys or a fall dress.
Hope to see you there!
