Class ring order day - The Jostens representative will be at JM  on Wednesday, May 19^th during all lunch shifts and on Thursday, May 20^th during lunch shifts and until 7pm in the cafeteria. Please bring a $50.00 deposit to order your ring.

Senior Trip 2010. The senior class will be taking a trip to Busch Gardens Thursday June 3^rd.  Pick-up information and permission slips from class officers, Ms. Pinkerton, the main office, or the senior locker bay.  You must have signed up with permission and money by Friday May 21^st.The cost is $35.00 which includes travel, park admission, dinner at Pierces.  Students will depart from JM at 8:30 AM and return to JM by 8:30 PM. Seniors must have paid their senior dues and  have cleared any school debts prior to signing up for the trip.

The Senior Class will present the concert version of “Guys &  Dolls” on March 4th, 5th and 6th in the JM Auditorium.  Show time will be 7:30 PM for all performances. There will not be a Senior Class Play dinner on Saturday night.

This policy will encompass both tardy to school and tardy to class. The first week of school will be considered a grade period.

1st Tardy - Warning issued and a tardy pass to class.

2nd Tardy - Detention assigned and a tardy pass to class.

3rd Tardy - One day of In School Suspension (ISS)

4th Tardy - Two days of ISS and an Administrator will contact the parent.

5th Tardy - Three days of ISS

6th Tardy - Three days of ISS and Parent Contacted

7th Tardy - Three days of ISS and Parent Contacted

8th Tardy - Three days of ISS and Parent Contacted

We will also conduct random “CLEAN SWEEPS” in which teachers will be instructed to lock their classroom doors when the tardy bell rings. All tardy students will be escorted to the lecture hall where consequences will range from 1 day of ISS to 3 days of ISS.

Students enrolled in a business class FIRST SEMESTER OR SECOND SEMESTER are invited to join the Future Business Leaders of America NOW.  You do not have to wait until 2^nd semester and miss a lot of the fun and excitement.  Please see Mrs. Robinson in Room 236 to join now - dues are $10.00.

Jostens will be at James Monroe High School on September 10th & 14th to deliver class rings. Ring delivery will be during all lunchwaves. You may still order a class ring if you have not already done so, just see the Josten Representative at the table set up in front of the library.
